William Winfred Nunnelly

William Winfred Nunnelly, 80, of Blackstone, VA passed away on Friday, June 10, 2011 at his home.

He was preceded in death by his son, William Reed Nunnelly. William is survived by his wife, Elsie Hammack Nunnelly; three daughters, Fae Bell of Richmond, Terry Hall and her husband, Will of Chesterfield, and Anne Logan and her husband, John, of Caroline Co., VA; five grandchildren, Mathew, Tyler, Chellie and Libby Bell, all of Richmond, and Julia Logan of Caroline Co.; a great granddaughter, Elsie Williams of Richmond; a brother, Bernard Dollbaby Nunnelly of Blackstone.

He was retired from Gulf/Chevron Oil Company, a US Navy veteran and member of Blackstone Baptist Church. William enjoyed travelling in his RV and riding the Back 40 of his farm on his mule with his beagle, Allie.

The family will receive friends 6:00 8:00 P.M., Monday, June 13, at the Joseph McMillian Funeral Home, 1826 Cox Road (Bus. Hwy. 460) near Blackstone. Funeral services will be held 1:00 P.M., Tuesday, June 14, 2011, at Blackstone Baptist Church, Blackstone, VA. Interment will follow in Lakeview Cemetery with military honors.
