William Bert Jibben

William “Wild Bill” Jibben, 80, of Blackstone, VA passed away peacefully on Friday, October 11, 2024, at his home.  He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Donna Jibben; three children, Bryan Jibben, Ashley Jibben (Michael Abernathy) and Kristie Jibben; six grandchildren, Coltin Taylor, Kade Taylor, Shailynn Ingram, Brennan Abernathy, Autumn St. John, and Kassian Francis; a son-in-law, Ray Taylor; two sisters, Mary Wright and Helen Morris.  Bill is preceded in death by his parents, Ben and Anna Jibben; three sisters, Sarah Jibben, Anna Driggs and Esther Stewart. 

He had a love of classic cars, vegetable gardening, and travelling through the mountains but most of all, he loved his family. 

Memorial services will be held at 3 P.M., Wednesday, Oct. 23, 2024, at the Blackstone Chapel of the Joseph McMillian Funeral Home, 1826 Cox Rd., Blackstone, VA  23824.  www.mcmillianfuneralhome.com
