William Allen Inge

William Allen Inge, 68, of Matoaca, VA, formerly of Blackstone, passed away Tuesday, December 14, 2010.

He was a MSgt with the Virgina National Guard and retired from MATES, Fort Pickett, U.S. Army, and veteran of the U.S. Air Force.

He was preceded in death by his son, Terry Allen Inge, and parents, Florence B. and Roy A. Inge, and sister, Betty Aldridge.

William is survived by his two daughters, Kimberly I. Hooker (Jeff) and Shelly P. Karousos (Pete), all of Matoaca, and their mother, Linda W. Inge of Chester; five grandchildren, Taylor, Mariah, Matthew, Savannah, and Chase; five sisters, Mary Freeman, Sandra Handy, Doris Schnell, Carolyn York, and Nancy Presley; brother, Charles Inge; many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

The family will receive friends from 6 - 8 P.M., Wednesday, December 15, 2010, at the Joseph McMillian Funeral Home, 1826 Cox Road (Bus. Hwy. 460) near Blackstone. Funeral services will be held 1 P.M., Thursday, December 16, 2010, at the funeral home with burial to follow with military honors in Lakeview Cemetery, Blackstone.
