William Rogers Ellis, Sr

William Rogers “Will” Ellis, Sr., age 84, of Church Road, VA, passed away peacefully at home. He is survived by his wife, Jo Anne Ellis; three daughters, Julia Ellis, Michelle Bilyard and April Hall (Brian); son, Bill Ellis, Jr. (Linda); three granddaughters, Kayla Bilyard, Samantha Ellis and Brianna Hall; five grandsons, Chris Ellis, Zachary Ellis, Tristan Bilyard, Wesley Ellis and Clyde Hall.  Will is also survived by his brother, Terry Ellis and a sister, Mary Gibbs.

 A Celebration of Life service will be held 11:00 AM on Wednesday, June 11, 2025, in the Ford Seventh-day Adventist Church, 8309 Wells Road, Ford, VA  23850. Private burial will take place in the family cemetery.

 In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN  38105 or through stjude.org.  Arrangements by the Joseph McMillian Funeral Home of Blackstone, VA.
