Thomas E. "Tommy" Hopkins

Thomas E. "Tommy" Hopkins, 51, of Chester, VA, formerly of Blackstone, passed away on Friday, June 4, 2010.

He is survived by his wife, Janet K. Hopkins; his children, Todd Ian Hopkins, Gregory Swain Hopkins and Elizabeth Blair Hopkins; his parents, Selina and Silas Hopkins; a grandson, Leo Ian Noel Hopkins; a brother, Wayne Hopkins; a niece, Brianna Devin Hopkins; a nephew, Daniel Wayne Hopkins; and two stepsons, Jason and Anthony Quintana.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8:30 P.M., Tuesday, June 8 at the Joseph McMillian Funeral Home, 1826 Cox Rd., Bus. Hwy. 460, near Blackstone, VA. A chapel funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, June 9, 2010 at the funeral home.
Interment will follow in Grace Methodist Church Cemetery.
