Thomas Clayton Brown, Jr., 82, of Crewe, VA, passed away on Wednesday, October 29, 2025. Tom is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Jewell Brown, and is survived by his daughters, Shannon Moffat (David) of Federal Way, Washington, and Colleen Koval of Spokane Valley, Washington; his son, Ervin Brown (Michele) of Shelton, Washington; and his sister, Jan Brown of Fortuna, California. He is also lovingly remembered by his four grandchildren—Mathew Moffat, Nicole Beverly, Kami Jaeger, and Kohl Jaeger—and three great-grandchildren, Gavin Jaeger, Liam Jaeger, and Addison Beverly.
A dedicated and skilled Sheetmetal Craftsman, Tom retired from the Northwest Sheetmetal Workers Association after a long and accomplished career. He was especially proud of his work on the Alaska Pipeline, where his expertise and craftsmanship played a meaningful role in its construction. Beyond his professional life, Tom’s greatest passion was the outdoors. An avid hunter, he found peace, purpose, and joy in nature throughout his life. A private service will be held at a later date.
