Shirley Roberts-Scholes

Shirley Roberts-Scholes, 38, of Crewe, VA, passed away on Thursday, March 22, 2012. She was a cook for Hill Top Restaurant in Burkeville.

Shirley is survived by her daughter, Casey Nicole Roberts; her husband, Gregory Scholes; her parents, Ilene and Jack Cassimore, all of Crewe; three sisters, Rose Wilson of Burkeville, Jackie Ware of Victoria, and Kelly Nicely of Blackstone; and a brother, Nelson Cassimore of Crewe.

The family will receive friends on Monday, March 26, from 6 to 8 P.M., at the Joseph McMillian Funeral Home, 1826 Cox Rd. (Bus. Hwy. 460), near Blackstone. Graveside funeral services will be held 1 P.M., Tuesday, March 27, 2012, in Crewe Cemetery.

The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to help with final expenses at any Citizens Bank and Trust Company branch, or mailed to Citizens Bank and Trust Co., 210 Carter Street, Crewe, VA 23930, made payable to Ilene R. Cassimore: FBO Shirley Roberts.
