Sarah Wilder Miracle, age 89, of Crewe, Va., widow of Abraham H. Miracle, died Friday, October 23, 2009.
She is survived by a son, David Miracle and his wife, Judy of Crewe; five daughters, Linda Morris and husband, Willard of South Hill, LaVerne Miller and husband, Jimmy of Wisconsin, Pauline New of Blackstone, Rosalie Pettry and husband, Larry of Ohio, Mary Jane Caudle of North Carolina; sisters, Nell Creech of Ohio, and Nancy Napier of Kentucky; 21 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; 23 great-great grandchildren and two great-great-great grandchildren.
Sarah was predeceased in death by three children, Nancy Morris, Shirley Turner and Johnny Miracle, and two grandsons, David Miracle Jr. and Danny Turner Jr.
The family will receive friends Monday, October 26 from 6 to 8 P.M. at the Joseph McMillian Funeral Home, 1826 Cox Road, (Bus. Hwy 460), near Blackstone.
Graveside funeral services will be held Tuesday, October 27 at 11:00 A.M. in Lakeview Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Nottoway County Emergency Squad, P. O. Box 453, Crewe, VA 23930.
