Samuel Martin Obituary

Samuel Randolph Butterbean Martin, age 78, of Blackstone, Va. died Wednesday, April 8, 2009.

Surviving are three daughters, Judy M. Hall (Charles), Peggy W. Thomas (Donny), and Brenda M. Cheely (Chip); one brother, Calvin Martin; two sisters, Myrtle Waugh and Betty Quinn; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, April 11 at the Joseph McMillian Funeral Home, 1826 Cox Rd., Bus. Hwy 460, near Blackstone, VA 23824 with burial to follow in the Crestview Memorial Park Cemetery in South Hill, Va. The family will receive friends from 7 8:30 P.M. Friday, April 10 at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Macedonia United Methodist Church.
