Ruth Kreider Petri

Ruth Kreider Petri, 53, of Richmond, formerly of Blackstone, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, November 8, 2008.

She is survived by her husband, Donald Petri, Jr.; her mother, Frances Kreider of Blackstone; daughter, Donna Wade and her husband, Chris; son, Tommy Petri; two grandchildren, Abby and Joey Wade, all of Richmond.

Ruth is also survived by her parents-in-law, Dorothy and Donald Petri, Sr., of Richmond; a brother, Charles Kreider of Blackstone; two sisters, Betty Jean Keller of Midlothian and Susan E. Javery of Ohio; a sister-in-law, Deborah Mason of Ashland and an adopted daughter, Pookie.

The family will receive friends, 6 to 8 P.M., Tuesday, November 11, at the Joseph McMillian Funeral Home, 1826 Cox Rd., Bus. Hwy. 460, Blackstone, VA 23824. The funeral service will take place 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, November 12, 2008 at the funeral chapel with burial to follow in Bethel Methodist Church Cemetery near Blackstone.
