Ruby Patterson Davis

Ruby Patterson Davis, 93, of Blackstone, VA, passed away Wednesday, September 9, 2009 at Hickory Hill Assisted Living in Burkeville.

She is the widow of Roy Woodrow Davis and is survived by three children, Harold Davis and his wife, Carolyn of Blackstone, Audrey Tunstall of Richmond, Joe Davis and his wife, Betsy, of Blackstone, six granchildren, three great grandchildren and special nephew, Allen Patterson.

Mrs. Davis was a longtime member of Rocky Hill Methodist Church and the Order of the Eastern Star.

The family will receive friends from 1 P.M., Sunday, September 13, 2009, at the Joseph McMillian Funeral Home, 1826 Cox Rd., (Bus. Hwy. 460) near Blackstone, until the departure of procession for a 2 P.M., graveside funeral at the Patterson Family Cemetery (Rd. 609-Yellow Bird Rd.)
