Rosa Taylor Obituary

Rosa Mae Paulette Taylor, 66, of Blackstone, VA, passed away on Tuesday, August 30, 2011.

She was preceded in death by her son, Wayne Lee Taylor; parents, Kate B. and R. M. Paulett, Sr.; and brothers, R.M. Jr. Paulette and Robert W. Scooter Paulett.

Rosa is survived by her three children, Tammy J. Taylor, James Taylor (Hope) and Cindy Taylor-Longest (Mark); seven grandchildren, Amy Taylor, Bradley Smith, Brittany Johnson, Hunter and Macey Taylor, Drake and CeeCee Bishop; two great-grandchildren, Kyndall and Logan Hanson; husband of 34 years, Kenneth Taylor; three sisters, (her special caregiver) Frances Sutphin, Florence Paulette and Jackie Richardson; four brothers, William, John, Jim and Baby (Wayne) Paulette, all of Blackstone.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 P.M., Thursday, at the funeral home. Funeral services will be held 1 P.M., Friday, September 2, 2011, at the Joseph McMillian Funeral Home, 1826 Cox Rd., (Bus. Hwy. 460) near Blackstone. Burial will follow in Lakeview Cemetery.
