Robert Theodore Procise, Sr.

Robert T. “Bobby” Procise, Sr., 82, of Wilsons, VA, passed away on Sunday, December 24, 2023, at his home following an extended illness. He attended Grace United Methodist Church. Bobby was an employee of over 20 years with Brown & Williamson Tobacco Co. and was a lifelong farmer. He is survived by his wife, Patricia Faye Babb Procise; two sons, Robert “Ted” Procise, Jr. (Marijon) of Crewe and Michael K. Procise (Debbie) of Wilsons; three grandchildren, Jennifer and Keith Procise of Durham, NC and Kayla Procise of Crewe; a great granddaughter, Marianna Procise; four stepchildren, Lorie Tilson (David), Tanya Tolley (Kevin), Chasity Roberts (Jimmy), all of TN; and Roger Messer, Jr. (Angie) of VA; several step grand and great grandchildren; a sister, LaVerna Lewis of Wilsons; two brothers, Leon Procise (Gwen) of Newport News and Carlton Procise (Gweneth) of Wilsons and several nieces and nephews. Bobby was preceded in death by his parents, John Procise, Sr. and Kathleen Wray Procise; brother, John Procise, Jr.; grandson, Kyle Procise and step grandson, Travis Tolley.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, Dec. 30, 2023, at the Joseph McMillian Funeral Home, 1826 Cox Rd., Blackstone, VA 23824. The family will receive friends following the services. Burial will take place at the Happy Valley Memorial Park, Johnson City, TN., at a later date.
