Robert Washington Daniels, Jr

Robert W. “Bobby” Daniels, Jr., age 85, of Blackstone, VA, passed away on Saturday, August 10, 2024, after a long illness.  He was predeceased by his sister, Peggy Williams and stepson, Cliff Taylor.  He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Ethelyn “Lynn” Daniels; son, Robert “Robbie” Daniels III (Ashley); stepdaughter, Kathryn Taylor (Kevin); grandchildren, Courtney and Carson Daniels; step grandchildren, Megan and Jacob Taylor and their mother, Susan Taylor; sister, Betty Daniels; niece, Jennifer Williams and nephew, John Williams.  The family wishes to express their heartfelt thanks to the nurses at Amedisys Hospice for their constant presence and support throughout the past year, especially RN’s Taylor Thomason and April Capps.  Our love to caregiver, Cindy Sadler and her husband, Lewis, who have always been there for the family and have become lifelong friends. 

Memorial services will be held at 3 P.M., Friday, August 16, 2024, at the Blackstone Baptist Church, 407 S. Main St., Blackstone, VA  23824.  All who wish to honor his life may make a memorial donation to the Blackstone Baptist Church.  Arrangements are by the Blackstone Chapel of the Joseph McMillian Funeral Home.  www.mcmillianfuneralhome.com
