Peggy Jean Pearson Vaughan

Peggy Jean Pearson Vaughan, 57, of Blackstone, died Friday, February 4, 2011.

She is survived by her husband, Bruce M. Vaughan; daughter, Heather V. Spradlin and husband, Jeff; grandchildren, Kennedy N. and Elijah C. Spradlin all of Blackstone and Brooke Bowes of Scottsburg; son, Joseph Rickmond of Scottsburg, VA; brother, Danny Pearson and his wife, Wendi of Social Circle, Ga; sisters, Linda Lowell and Kay Clary and her husband, Donnie, all of Lawrenceville, VA; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and very special friends.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 P.M. Monday, February 7 at the Joseph McMillian Funeral Home, 1826 Cox Rd (Bus Hwy 460) near Blackstone. Chapel funeral services will be held on Tuesday, February 8, 2011 at 1 P.M., with burial to follow in Lakeview Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Crenshaw United Methodist Church, 200 Church St, Blackstone Vol. Fire Department, 318 Church St., Blackstone, VA 23824 or to the immediate family to help with expenses.
