Nancy Lee Blalock

Nancy Lee St. John Blalock, age 82, of Blackstone, VA, passed away peacefully at home with her family by her side on Saturday, April 19, 2025.  She is preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Clint L. Blalock and her parents, Ella Viola Goodwin and Leland St. John. Nancy worked for 33 years and retired as a Contracting Officer for the U.S. Army at Fort Pickett.  She was a devoted Christian who loved the Lord.  Nancy spent most of her time with her family and passionately loved her children and grandchildren; her house was always full of love.  She is survived by two daughters, Kimberly Castle (Charles) and Ella Schellhaus; four grandchildren, Stephanie Young (Chris), Janine Stacy (Jonathan), Heather and Jacob Schellhaus; five great grandchildren, Samuel and Kaela Young, Connor, Clay and Caroline Stacy.  She is also survived by a sister, Edwina Walker (Daniel); a brother, Roger St. John (Wilma); sister-in-law, Margaret Brockwell; Jimmy, David and Mary Camden as well as additional numerous nieces and nephews; and her beloved K-9 companion, Bonnie.

Funeral services will be held at 4 P.M., Thursday, April 24, 2025, at the Blackstone Chapel of the Joseph McMillian Funeral Homes, 1826 Cox Rd., Blackstone, VA  23824.
