Mildred Lee Echols

Mildred Lee Echols, 96, passed away on Saturday, January 9, 2010. She was born in Nottoway County on October 29, 1913, moved to Dinwiddie and then returned to Blackstone upon her retirement.

She was a lifetime member of the Blackstone Presbyterian Church. She was a devoted aunt to her numerous nieces and nephews, spending many of her retirement years caring for members of her family.

The family and friends will gather on Wednesday, January 13, 2010 at the Joseph McMillian Funeral Home, 1826 Cox Rd. (Bus Hwy 460) near Blackstone from 12 noon until time of procession for graveside services at 1 P.M., at Lakeview Cemetery, Blackstone. Viewing at the funeral home until 12:30 P.M. A reception will follow the services at Blackstone Presbyterian Church.
