Mildred Ethma Echols Davis, 86, widow of John Franklin Davis of Ford, Virginia, died Wednesday, July 29, 2009.
She is survived by a son, John Franklin Davis, Jr. of Ford and a daughter, Inez D. Baldwin of Colonial Heights; two grandsons, Troy Moring and Jason Davis; two great grandchildren, Kaley and Brady Moring; two sisters, Katherine Hill of Colonial Heights and Joyce Loftis of Petersburg; devoted niece, Judy Lee Davis and nephew, Thomas Ross Davis, both of Ford, VA.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 P.M., Friday, July 31, at the Joseph McMillian Funeral Home, 1826 Cox Rd. (Bus. Hwy 460) near Blackstone, VA 23824.
Graveside funeral services will be held 2 P.M., Saturday, August 1, 2009, at the Hawkins Memorial Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Ford, VA.
