Mary Page Thompson Kanipe

Mary Page Thompson Kanipe, 71, of Blackstone, VA and formerly of Amelia, passed away Saturday, July 4, 2009. She was preceded in death by her son, Lewis Mark Kanipe.

Mary is survived by a daughter, Cindy Cundiff and her husband, Kenneth; a son, Timmy Kanipe and his wife, Stacie, all of Blackstone; six grandsons, Patrick and Sean Kanipe, Ken and Mark Cundiff, and Alex and Corey Kanipe; and a great granddaughter, Amelia Kanipe; a sister, Faye Musselman and her husband, Tommy of Richmond.

She was a member of Sandy Creek Baptist Church in Jetersville.

Chapel funeral services will be held 11 A.M., Tuesday, July 7, 2009, at the Joseph McMillian Funeral Home, 1826 Cox Rd. (Bus. Hwy. 460), near Blackstone. Interment will follow in Wards Chapel Cemetery in Crewe, VA.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 P.M., Monday, July 6, at the funeral home.
