Mary Hayslett Obituary

Mary Alice Hayslett, 76, of Blackstone, VA passed away on Wednesday, January 21, 2026. She is survived by her children, James Hayslett of Blackstone and Frannie Hernandez (Felix) of Chesterfield; her grandchildren, Nathalia, Joshua and Blake Hernandez; special children, Vanessa Juarrez-Niz, Ashley Hernandez-Niz, Bryan Hernandez-Garcia and Jennifer Hernandez-Garcia; six nieces; sister-in-law Rosa Shaw; a host of other family members and a special thank you to Amedisys Hospice and Home Health.

The family will receive friends from 4 to 6 P.M., Thursday, February 5, 2026, at the Joseph McMillian Funeral Home, 1826 Cox Rd., Blackstone, VA 23824. Graveside funeral services will be held at 1 P.M., Friday, February 6, 2026, at Lakeview Cemetery in Blackstone. www.mcmillianfuneralhome.com
