Mary Sawyer Duryee

Mary Sawyer Duryee, 62, of Blackstone, VA passed away at home on Sunday, December 8, 2024, with her family by her side.  She is survived by her husband of 25 years, Davie Gregory; two sons, George Duryee, Jr. (Amber) of Blackstone and Travis Gregory of Richmond; two daughters, April Duryee (Joey Ramsey) of Amelia and Nitayah Barnett of Richmond; grandchildren, Tayelor Benson, George Duryee III, Zack Duryee, Hailey Ellett, Cassidi Ellett, Ni Barnett, Dee Barnett, Darian Barnett, Mya Gregory, and Jaliyah Gregory; great granddaughter, Oaklynn Jones; three brothers and two sisters. 

Mary was a loving, gracious mother and friend to many.  She never met a stranger and was always willing to lend a hand to those in need.  Mary will be greatly missed for her love and care for her family and many friends.
