Mary Elizabeth McKinney Burke

Mary Elizabeth McKinney Burke, 82, of Blackstone, formerly of Jetersville, passed away Thursday, January 13, 2011.

She was the widow of Raymond Blanton Burke, Sr. and was also predeceased by a daughter, Mary Alice Burke; granddaughter, Crystal Gail Long; and a grandson, Raymond Matthew Burke.

Elizabeth is survived by a daughter, Louise Burke Long and her companion, James Shores of Ammon; a son, Raymond Blanton Burke, Jr. and his wife, Mary Anne McKenzie Burke of Chantilly; a granddaughter, Rosaline Greene (Red) of TN; a grandson, Brian Michael Burke (Kristie) and a great-granddaughter, Lilly Isabella Burke, all of Bristow; two sisters, Peggy Ownby of Nebo, NC, and Lois Lang of Jetersville; and a brother, Paul McKinney (Polly) of Nebo, NC.

Graveside funeral services will be held 1 P.M., Tuesday, January 18, 2011, at the Jetersville Christian Church Cemetery, Jetersville, VA.
