Mark Granvil Brandon

Mark Granvil Brandon, 49, of Sutherland, Virginia, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, May 9, 2024. He is preceded in death by his father, Granvil H. Brandon, and his grandparents. Mark is survived by his mother, Brenda L. Brandon, of Wilsons, VA; wife of 21 years, Mary Alice Brandon; daughter, Taylor L. Brandon of Rye, New York; stepdaughter, Ashleigh Clark (Luis) of Colonial Heights; Stepson, Jackson Clark of Denver, Colorado and four grandchildren; sister, Cammi Brandon Brito (Russell); niece, Ansley of Tucson, Arizona; and many other family and friends.

Mark was a member of Ocran UMC in Sutherland, VA and very active in the choir and youth ministries. 

The family will receive friends from 5:00 - 7:00 P.M., Thursday, May 16, 2024, at the Blackstone Chapel of the Joseph McMillian Funeral Homes, 1826 Cox Road, Blackstone, VA 23824. Graveside funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M., Friday, May 17, 2024, in Lakeview Cemetery, Eighth Street, Blackstone, VA 23824.
