Mac Eugene Hawkins

Mac E. Hawkins, 61, of Sutherland, passed away Saturday, July 24, 2010.

He was the son of the late Mary S. and David L. Hawkins; was born and lived his entire life in Dinwiddie Co, VA.

Mac is survived by his wife, Sherrie Hawkins; daughter, Laura Lynn Pemberton (Rodney) of McKenney; son, David ONeil Hawkins of Sutherland; grandson, Kane ONeil Hawkins; granddaughter, Rosa Cathleen Pemberton (Catie); brother, Clarence Edward Hawkins of DeWitt; five sisters, Jean M. Reeves of Kenbridge, Alice A. Hawkins of Blackstone, Martha H. Gooch (Ronnie) of McKenney, Frances H. Reames of Dinwiddie and Rose H. McCaffity (Billie) of McKenney.

The family will receive friends, 6- 8 P.M., Monday, July 26 at the Joseph McMillian Funeral Home, 1826 Cox Rd., Bus Hwy 460, near Blackstone. Graveside funeral services will be held 11 A.M., Tuesday, July 27, at Crestview Memorial Park, South Hill, VA.
