Lucy Nichols Graves, 92, of Clayville, Powhatan, Va., went to be with our Lord on Wednesday, January 28, 2009. She was a wonderful, loving and caring mother, grandmother and wife. She outlived her three husbands, Joseph Flowers, Francis Bradley and Eugene Graves. Lucy is survived by her daughter, Janet Flowers Edmonds and her husband, Roy, of Guyra N.S.W., Australia; her son, David R. Bradley Sr. and his wife, Brenda, of Powhatan; a brother, Max Nichols and his wife, Mabel, of Fairfax; four grandchildren, Christie Campbell, Joseph McMillian, Robbie and Timothy Bradley; seven great-grandchildren, Alexis and Madison Bradley, Bradley and Kaitlin Campbell, Marissa, Joseph Jr. and Savannah McMillian.
The family will receive friends from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, January 30, at the Genito Presbyterian Church, 2910 Genito Road in Powhatan, Va., 23139, and also where funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, January 31. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Genito Presbyterian Church Memorial Fund or the Kidney Foundation of Virginia, 2610 Willard Rd., Richmond, Va. 23294.
