Louise Barnes Obituary

Louise Robertson Barnes, age 96, of Blackstone, passed away Sunday, October 10, 2010.

She was a retired seamstress for Peebles Department Store.

Louise is survived by a daughter, Wanda Wilcher Hofer ( Clyde Waltman) of Robertsdale, Al.; stepdaughter, Susan Roberts (Penn) of Blackstone; a grandson, Ronald Gilliland(Sherry) of Crewe; a devoted nephew, John Robertson ( Hazel); two great nieces, Betty Wood and Terry Wilkerson; numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, October 12 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Joseph McMillian Funeral Home 1826 Cox Rd. (Bus.Hwy) 460 near Blackstone. Chapel funeral services will be held 2 p.m., Wednesday, October 13, 2010 with interment to follow in St. Marks United Methodist Church Cemetery.
