Linda Wray Inge 77, of North Dinwiddie, VA, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 29, 2025 at her home. Preceded in death by her parents, Eldon Austin and Vivian Austin, husband William Allen Inge, her son Terry Allen Inge, Brother Howard Wray, and grandson Matthew Karousos. Linda is survived by her two daughters, Shelly Paulett Karousos (Pete), and Kimberly Inge Hooker (Jeff). Grandchildren, Mariah Karousos Long (Patrick), Taylor Bishop, Savannah Hooker (Jacob), and Chase Hooker. Great grandchildren, Jayson Karousos, Vivian Karousos, Kalie Kuda, Parker Fallin, and Danielle Long. Brothers Eldon Austin Jr. (Ann), Terry Austin (Sindee), Sisters Zora Bruce (Jim) and Shirley Clement (David). Many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Linda enjoyed spending time with family and friends. The image that will remain vivid for many is Linda’s undeniable presence, a captivating blend of beauty, style and grace. Linda’s love for music carried her from her youth through her final days. She enjoyed dancing and being on the water. Through hard work and determination, Linda earned her cosmetology license and owned her own business.
Linda was truly loved and will be missed. The family wishes to thank the many caregivers at The Petersburg Home for Ladies and At Home Care Hospice for their excellent and wonderful care.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 PM on Wednesday, December 3, 2025 at the Joseph McMillian Funeral Home 1826 Cox Road Blackstone, VA 23824. Funeral services will be held at 1 PM, Thursday, December 4, 2025, at the funeral home with burial to follow in Sunset Hill Cemetery in Burkeville. www.mcmillianfuneralhome.com.
