Joseph Arthur Martin

Joseph Arthur Martin, 73, of Blackstone, VA, passed away on Monday, February 3, 2025. He is the son of Joseph Elford and Catherine Rice Martin. Joe is survived by his wife, Patricia Dale Martin; daughters, Cindy Martin Vanmeter (Billy), Melissa Martin Cundiff; stepdaughters, Heather Wells (Mike) and Regina Dorton (Jackie); stepson, Danny Beineke (Kim); sisters, Ann Mayton Fish (Clifton), Mary Louise Rice, Barbara Harrell (Larry), Bonnie Clements (Donnie), Beverly Orr (Dale), Catherine Bowen (Truman); 19 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. He was a U.S. Army Veteran and retired HVAC technician for Ft. Pickett and Ft. Lee.  

The family will receive friends from 5 – 7 P.M., Thursday, February 27, 2025 at the Blackstone Chapel of the Joseph McMillian Funeral Homes, 1826 Cox Rd., Blackstone, VA 23824.  Graveside services will be held at 11 A.M., Friday, February 28, 2025 in Lakeview Cemetery, Blackstone, with military honors by the U.S. Army. www.mcmillianfuneralhome.com
