Jewell Emerson Brown

Jewell Emerson Brown, 74, of Crewe, VA passed away on Monday, December 9, 2024.  She is survived by her husband, Thomas Brown; a daughter, Shannon Coppedge (Mike) of Crewe; four grandchildren, Emily Coppedge, Kimberly Buczek (Robert), Tyler Wood, and Zane Crafton; four great grandchildren; three sisters, Barbara Baldwin, Bonnie Ashman (Paul) and Robbie Gale Pope; and a brother, Hubert Emerson.  Jewell is preceded in death by her father, Robert Emerson; her mother, Roselle Turner; daughter, Angie Crafton; grandson, Taylor Wood; brother-in-law, Donnie Pope; sister-in-law, Estelle Emerson; niece, Teresa Dawson; and a great niece, Amber Weyant. 

Graveside funeral services will be held at 3:00 P.M., Friday, December 13, 2024 in St. Marks Methodist Church Cemetery, 8254 Hungarytown Rd., Crewe, VA  23930.  Arrangements are by the Joseph McMillian Funeral Homes of Blackstone and Crewe, VA. www.mcmillianfuneralhome.com
