Jeanette P. Eudy, age 80, of Wilsons, Virginia, went to be with the Lord on Friday, May 25, 2007. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Eudy; and a son, Reginald "Buddy" Jones. She was a caring and loving wife, mother, grandmother, and a devout Christian. She enjoyed flower gardening, southern gospel music, and was an avid Atlanta Braves fan. She is survived by her daughter, Wanda Campbell and her husband, Ronnie, of Wilsons; son, Edward Eudy, of Mt. Jackson; grandson, Ray Ellis and his wife, Theresa, of Ford; granddaughter, Janet Canaday and her husband, Kevin, of Bernville, PA; three great granddaughters, Krystal Major, Brittney Ellis, and Kristen Canaday; great grandson, Sam Ellis; two sisters, Fran Carter and Gail Locklear, both of North Carolina; four brothers, Roger and Jimmy Powell, both of North Carolina, and Gerald and Billie Powell, both of Georgia; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. The family will receive friends from 3 to 5 P.M., Sunday, at the Joseph McMillian Funeral Home, 1826 Cox Rd., Blackstone. Funeral services will be held 11 A.M., Monday, May 28, 2007 at Sharon Baptist Church in Darvills, with burial to follow in the church cemetery. Rev. Ted Owens, officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Sharon Baptist Church Building Fund, 4111 Darvills Rd., Blackstone, VA 23824.
