Jean Coleman Obituary

Jean Eastwood Coleman of the Darvills community and wife of 34 years to Gene Carter GC Coleman, passed away Tuesday, January 5, 2010.

She was born June 7, 1937, the daughter of the late Ada and James L. Eastwood. She was a retired Registered Nurse graduating from Johnston-Willis Hospital, School of Nursing and retired as an Occupational Health RN for Reynolds Metals Aluminum.

Jean is survived by her husband and two stepsons, David M. (Judi) and Russell Scott Coleman, both of Rawlings, VA.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 P.M. Friday, January 8 at the Joseph McMillian Funeral Home, 1826 Cox Rd. (Bus. Hwy 460), near Blackstone. Funeral services will be held 1 P.M., Saturday, January 9, 2010, with burial to follow in Butterwood Methodist Church Cemetery.
