Jane Hohn Obituary

Jane E Trump Hohn departed this life on August 25, 2025. Jane was born July 13, 1940, in Crewe Va. She was preceded in death by her Father Carl F Trump, Mother, Marguerite F Trump Mathews, husband Eugene G Hohn her 3 brothers, Samual F Trump, John F Trump, and Thomas RTrump. Jane is survived by her daughter Gretchen E Brown, (Steve Brown) of Gloucester Va, and Son Robert E Jennette Jr.(Holle Jennette) of Ayden North Carolina. She is also survived by her two Grandchildren Christopher S brown, (Sabrina Brown) and Sharon E Myers (Matthew Myers} both of Gloucester Va. Six Great Grandchildren: Taylor N Brown, Dylan C Brown, Jacob K Nowell, Emily E Nowell, Brice M Brown, and Kane A Brown all of Gloucester Virginia. Sister-in-Laws (Sista) Jane W Morton Trump, and Janine Owens (Ken Owens) as well as much loved Nieces and Nephews. Jane was an avid reader of history, A profuse gardener, and loved her community. She was the Librarian for many years at Nottaway High School, and could be found at band concerts, in addition to sporting events supporting her beloved Nottaway teams, both boys and girls. Besides her family, Music was her main passion. Beginning at age eight she started playing piano. She would begin her formal studies of music at Louisburg College in North Carolina. After a few detours she attended Middle Tennessee State University where she earned a Bachelor of music degree. Jane moved to Indiana and attended Indiana University where she earned her Master of Library Science degree. She was an active choir member at Blackstone Presbyterian Church, and member of Commonwealth Chorale.

Family and friends are invited to gather to celebrate the life of Jane at Crewe cemetery Crewe VA on September 12, 2025 at 11 :00 am. Service Under direction of Joseph McMillian Funeral Home, and Crematory Blackstone Virginia and Rev. Dr. Peter Smith of Farmville Presbyterian Church.Memorial donations may be made to the Parkinsons Foundation.
