Jane Phelps Borum

Jane P. Borum of Blackstone, Va. died Wednesday, February 11, 2009. She was born February 17, 1912 and was the widow of Willie Witt Borum.

Jane was the essence of love, devoting her life to family, friends and faith. She is survived by two sons, Joseph Witt Borum of Blackstone and Robert Lee Borum of Richmond; two daughters, Beverley B. Nowell of Bradenton, FL and Sarah B. Nicholas of Blackstone; 10 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandson. Jane was preceded in death by two brothers and five sisters.

The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m., Friday, February 13, at the Joseph McMillian Funeral Home, 1826 Cox Road (Bus. Hwy. 460) near Blackstone.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, February 14, at the Crenshaw United Methodist Church, 200 Church Street, Blackstone with interment to follow in Lakeview Cemetery.
