James Yates Sadler

James Yates Sadler, 38, of Petersburg died Monday, July 13, 2009.

He is survived by a son, Zackery Sadler and a daughter, Selena Sadler, both of Hopewell; brothers, Gerald A. Sadler, Jr. (Sherry Richardson) of McKenney, Lester, Bernard, and Michael Sadler; sister-in-law, Brenda Sadler, all of Petersburg; maternal grandmother, Beatrice Payne of Chester; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday, at the Joseph McMillian Funeral Home, 1826 Cox Rd.(Hwy. 460 Bus.), near Blackstone, VA 23824.

Graveside services will be held 11:30 A.M., Friday, July 24, 2009, in Blandford Cemetery, Petersburg, VA. Reception to follow at the Dinwiddie Moose Lodge.
