Heaven Skyler Wilson, age 6, of Jetersville, Amelia County, Virginia, passed away on Wednesday, October 21, 2009.
She was a First Grade Student of Amelia Elementary School. Heaven was known affectionately as "Sissy" by her family, she loved dancing, singing, humorous story-telling, smiling, walking with her dogs, being outdoors, watching the leaves fall from the trees, peering at the moon and talking about God.
Although Heaven has left this Earth, Sissy leaves behind to cherish and love her memory always to her mother, Sara Elizabeth Wilson and stepfather, Robert Wallace; brothers, Sebastian and Caleb Wilson, all of Jetersville; father, Richard Perkins; maternal grandparents, Ken Wilson of Christiansburg, Pat Sparrow of Jetersville and Edward Sparrow of Midlothian; paternal grandparents, Debra Gibson and Ronnie Perkins; aunts, Michelle Gorman and Starr Wilson, both of Roanoke; great aunts, Susan Ross of McKenney and Carol Mawyer and her husband, David of Waynesboro; great uncles, John Wade and his wife, Kathy of Waynesboro; Steve Wade of Roanoke; and Raymond Wade of Staunton; many cousins and cherished friends.
The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 P.M., Sunday, October 25, at the Joseph McMillian Funeral Home, 1826 Cox Rd., Business Hwy. 460, Blackstone, VA 23824.
Private funeral services will be held at the Sharon Baptist Church in Darvills, VA.
