Hazel "Mickey" Flowers Carter

Hazel "Mickey" Marie Carter, 82, of Crewe, VA, passed away on Wednesday, March 10, 2010.

She was the widow of Robert Luther Carter. Mickey had six children, Joseph Adams (Mary Anne) of Richmond, Donald Faison of Florida, Darlene Spencer of Bracey, VA and Richard Faison of Crewe, VA, William K. Adams (Dec.)and Vicky Lastovica (Dec.); nine grandchildren, Michele Lastovica Bronnenberg (Michael), Michael Lastovica, Daniel Lastovica (Kristen), all of Richmond, Teresa L. Adams of Crewe, William K. Adams II of Blackstone, Joseph Christopher Adams of Richmond, Megan Fasion, Darrell Spencer (Jennifer) of Lynchburg and Monica Faison (Dec.), seven great grandchildren, James and Victoria Bronnenberg, Tommy Adams, RaShawn Montgomery, Darrell Spencer III, Alexis and Briana Spencer, two sisters, Geneva (Dec.) and Della Flowers; and two brothers, James Flowers (Dec.) and Toby Flowers (Dec.)

The family will receive friends from 1 to 3 P.M., Sunday, March 14, at the Joseph McMillian Funeral Home.

A chapel funeral service will be held 1 P.M., Monday, March 15, 2010 at the Joseph McMillian Funeral Home, 1826 Cox Rd. (Bus. Hwy. 460) near Blackstone.

Burial will follow and take place in Crewe Cemetery, Crewe, VA.
