Harry Wayne Skinner

Harry Wayne Skinner, 81, of Blackstone, VA, passed away on Monday, July 22, 2024.  He is the widower of Doris Lloyd Skinner and preceded in death by his brother, Herbert Elvin Skinner.  Born in Brunswick County, Virginia, he was the son of Robert E. and Maude P. Skinner.  Wayne was a retired Mould Operator for Taylor-Ramsey Furniture Co.  He was a devoted father to his three children, Sheila Abernathy (Ben), James Hammonds (Lynn) and Jerry Hammonds (Adrienne); his four grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren.  

Graveside funeral services will be held at Lakeview Cemetery, 8th St., Blackstone, VA  23824 at 11:00 A.M., Friday, July 26, 2024.  Arrangements are by the Blackstone Chapel of Joseph McMillian Funeral Home.  www.mcmillianfuneralhome.com
