Harriet Andrews Obituary
Harriet Anne Andrews, 72, of South Chesterfield, VA, passed away on Saturday, March 7, 2026. She is preceded in death by her father, Harry Snead Andrews. Harriet is survived by her husband and partner of 47 years, Michael E. Craddock; her mother, Anne Lewis Andrews of Blackstone, VA; and a sister, Sue Parrish (Jerry) of Warsaw, VA. Harriet is also survived by two nieces, Danielle Thompson and Victoria Gormus; two nephews, Chuck Parrish and Joey Gormus; two great nephews, numerous cousins and many devoted friends. She worked for SunTrust (later, Truist) in the Legal Department for 28 years. Harriet was an avid gardener who loved camping, cooking, fishing and being in God’s nature. She also loved traveling in the U.S.A. and visited 49 of the 50 states.
Memorial services will be held at 11 A.M., Saturday, March 28, 2026 in the Blackstone Baptist Church, 415 S. Main St., Blackstone, VA 23824. Burial will follow in Lakeview Cemetery. The family will receive friends and fellowship following the graveside service at the church. Arrangements are by the Joseph McMillian Funeral Home of Blackstone.
