Harley Thomas Dalton, 86, of Blackstone, VA, passed away on Wednesday, April 20, 2011.

He was predeceased by a son, Stephen R. Dalton; brothers, Walter and Frank Dalton; sisters, Carrie McGrady, Hazel Hambrick, Stella McMullen, Lola Zirkle and Willie Forrester.

Harley is survived by his wife of 60 years, Ruthella Dukes Dalton; three sons, William H. Dalton (Pamela) of Colonial Heights, Douglas Thomas Dalton and Kenneth Lee Dalton ( Sheri ) both of Blackstone; grandchildren, Devon Westmoreland (Brandon) of Petersburg, Lindsay Cliborne (Matthew) of McKenney, Kevin Dalton of Blackstone and Dustin Bates of Burkeville; great-grandchildren, Braeden and Cole Westmoreland ,both of Petersburg; Clayton, Emersyn and Kipton Cliborne of McKenney.

The family will receive friends on Friday, April 22 from 6 to 8 P.M., at the Joseph McMillian Funeral Home, 1826 Cox Rd. (Bus. Hwy 460) near Blackstone. Funeral services will be held 2 P.M., Saturday, April 23, 2011 at Grace Baptist Temple, 1010 South Main Street, Blackstone, VA 23824.
