Gregory Allen Duncanson

Gregory Allen Duncanson, age 48, of Blackstone, died at his home on Thursday, February 28, 2008 after a brave battle with brain cancer.

Greg was devoted to his wife, his family, and many friends. He graduated from Virginia Tech with a degree in Civil Engineering, was owner of O.D. Duncanson, Jr. & Sons, and was a recent employee of the Department of Public Works, Fort Pickett.

He is preceded in death by his father, O.D. Duncanson, Jr. and brother-in-law, Carl Wilson.

Greg is survived by his wife, Sondra C. Duncanson; mother, Nancy S. Duncanson; brother, O.D. Duncanson III and his wife, Zona; sister, Nancy D. Wilson; stepson, Craig L. Dalton; and a host of neices and nephews, all of Blackstone.

Memorial services will be held 2 p.m., Saturday, March 1, 2008 at Crenshaw United Methodist Church, Blackstone. Reverend Scott Hopkins will be officiating. The family will gather following the services in the LC Sullivan's Bible Class to receive friends.
