Gloria Reeves Beamer

Gloria Reeves Beamer, 57, of Burkeville, VA, passed away Tuesday, July 1, 2008.

She was a Seventh grade English teacher at Nottoway Middle School having taught for over 32 years.

Gloria is survived by her husband of 37 years, Ron Beamer; two daughters, April Beamer of Burkeville and Mandy Arthur of Crewe; her mother-in-law, Inez Chiles of Blackstone and two sisters, Pam Mitchell of North Carolina and Cathy Wheeler of Crewe.

Graveside funeral services will be held at 3:00 P.M., Thursday, July 3, in the Crewe Cemetery, in Crewe, VA.

The family will receive friends at the home on Wednesday, July 2, from 2 to 7 P.M.

In lieu of flowers, her wish is that donations be sent in her memory to Ama Nyame Memorial Medical Center, Inc., c/o K. Donkor, MD, 1100 West Third Street, P.O. Box 353, Farmville, VA 23901.
