George Kevin Oliver

George Kevin Oliver, age 62, of Crewe, Virginia, passed away on September 6th at his home.

He was born on February 13, 1964 in Richmond, Virginia to George Henry Oliver and Dorothy Mae Oliver. He graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University and later worked at Saturn of Richmond, Caliber Collision and as a Parts Specialist at Lexus of Richmond.  Kevin loved birdwatching, NASCAR & motocross racing, weight lifting, and studying and practicing his faith. He was known for being a loving husband, a great dad, and grandpa, and for helping neighbors.

Kevin is survived by Kathleen Alexander Oliver, his wife of almost 33 years; his children, Michael Duhon, Matthew Duhon and his wife Cindy, Geoffrey Oliver, and Ian Oliver; and his grandchildren, Wallace, Daphne, Barret, and Wilson.  He was preceded in death by his mother and father, George & Dorothy.

The viewing will be at 10 a.m., followed by mass at 11AM. on September 14th, at St. Theresa Catholic Church, 709 Buffalo St., Farmville, Virginia 23901. At approximately 1PM, the burial and reception will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 2597 Bruceville Rd., Meherrin, Virginia 23954.
