Gary Lee Parrish

Gary Lee Parrish, 55, of Blackstone, VA, passed away, Friday, July 30, 2010.

He is survived by his wife, Arlene Parrish; two children, Gary Lee Parrish, Jr. and his wife, Holly; Crystal Atkins and her husband, Scotty; three grandsons, Brandon and Thomas Parrish and Benjamin Atkins; his mother, Frances Parrish , all of Blackstone; brother, Jerry Parrish and his wife, Sue of Warsaw and a sister, Patty Raimonde of Crewe.

He was preceded in death by his father, Lewis E. Parrish and his brother, Dale O. Parrish.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 P.M., Saturday, July 31, at the Joseph McMillian Funeral Home, 1826 Cox Rd. (Bus Hwy 460) near Blackstone and where chapel funeral services will be held 2 P.M., Sunday, August 1, 2010. Burial will follow in Lakeview Cemetery.
