Fortino Mendoza Pacheco, 19, of Petersburg, VA, formerly of Oaxaca, Mexico, died Saturday, September 25, 2010.

He is survived by his parents Filemon Mendoza Lopez and Veronica Pacheco Cervantes of Mexico; two brothers, Amadeo Mendoza Pacheco and Erasmo Mendoza Pacheco; three sisters, Francisca Mendoza Pacheco, Maria del Carmen Mendoza Pacheco, and Salome Mendoza Pacheco; maternal grandparents, Valentin Pacheco Angulo and Marcela Cervantes Mejia; paternal grandparents, Rafael Mendoz Perez and Aurelia Lopez Hernandes;a cousin, Greg Mendoza; and an uncle, Vicente Perez Perez of Richmond, VA.

A Christian Wake service will be held at 6:00 p.m., Saturday, October 2, 2010 at the Joseph McMillian Funeral Home, 1826 Cox Road (Bus. Hwy. 460) near Blackstone. Father Joseph Wamalo will officiate the services.

Burial will take place at a later date at Cemeteria Municipal de Ayotzintepec, Oaxaco, Mexico.
