Estelle Mayton Phillips

Estelle Mayton Phillips, 87, of Kenbridge, VA, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 30, 2024, with her family by her side.  She is preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, Gordon Phillips.  Estelle is survived by her four children, Janie Skelton of Victoria, Jean Jennings of Kenbridge, Ann Lawson (Franky) of Henderson, North Carolina, and John Phillips (Bonnie) of Victoria; 13 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; a great great granddaughter; sister, Sylvia Abernathy of Brunswick; and many nieces and nephews. 

The family will receive friends from 5 – 7 P.M., Tuesday, January 7, 2025, at the Blackstone Chapel of the Joseph McMillian Funeral Home, 1826 Cox Rd., Blackstone, VA  23824.  Funeral services will be held 11 A.M., Wednesday, January 8, 2025, at the funeral home with burial to follow in Jonesboro Baptist Church Cemetery, 1955 Jonesboro Church Road, Blackstone, VA  23824.  Pastor Buster Madison of the Blackstone Church of God will be officiating.  wwwmcmillianfuneralhome.com
