Elsie Lewis Pennington

Elsie Lee Lewis Pennington, 80, of Blackstone, Va., departed this life on Friday, January 16, 2009. She was the Co-Owner of Pennington Aluminum Products.

Elsie was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Everett A. Pennington; brother, John Edward Lewis and three great grandchildren.

She is survived by her three daughters, Shirley P. Hite(Haynie) of Kenbridge, Va., Faye P. Smith of Blackstone, Va. and May Lynn West (Tommy) of Blackstone, Va.; two sons, Everett Lee Pennington (Nancy) of Kenbridge, Va. and Ronald A. Pennington of Blackstone, Va.; 14 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

Elsie is also survived by a sister, Ruth Marie Dunnavant of Victoria, Va.; two brothers, Thornton H. Lewis Jr. of La Harbor California, and Warriner C. Lewis of Cyclone, Pa.

The family will receive friends from 2 to 5 P.M., Sunday, January 18, 2009 at the Joseph McMillian Funeral Home, 1826 Cox Rd., Bus. Hwy 460, near Blackstone and also where funeral services will be held Monday, January 19 at 11 a.m. with burial to follow in Lakeview Cemetery, Blackstone, Va.
