Eloise Dalton Obituary

Eloise Sue Adams Dalton, 79, of Burkeville, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by family on the evening of March 8, 2010.

She is survived by her devoted husband of 60 years, Raymond Lee Dalton, her three sons, Michael Ray Dalton and his wife, Peggy of West Valley, Utah, J. Hal Dalton and his wife, Debbie of Mechanicsville VA, Jay Tod Dalton and his wife, Kellie of Burkeville, VA and a daughter, Yvonne Wenger Gauges of Burkeville. Eloise had 13 Grandchildren; Bary, Blake, Brittani, Joseph, Jonathan, Madison, Ariel, Jordan, Taylor, Emma, Jake, Danni and Randi and had 8 great-grandchildren. She is survived by 11 brothers and sisters, Iva Harper of Lynchburg, Edna Foster of Chase City, Gladys Borup of Orem, Utah, Bill Adams of Danville, Robert Adams of Amelia, Calvin Adams of Newport News, Jewel Queensberry of Orem, Utah, Mary Alice Seamster of Farmville, Charlotte Watts of Burkeville, Nancy Roark of Crewe and Phyllis Roark of Crewe.
She was proceeded in death by her parents, Taylor W. Adams and Lizzie E. Short Adams, two brothers and sisters, Frances Lukin of Alta Vista, John T Adams of Keysville, Lenora Copal of Crewe and Larry Adams of Concord.

Family viewing will be on Friday, March 12 from 2-4 pm and 6-9 pm at the Joseph McMillian Funeral Home, 1826 Cox Rd., (Bus. Hwy. 460) near Blackstone, VA. The Funeral Services will be held at the Burkeville Branch of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints on Saturday, March, 13th 2010, at 2:00 pm.

Donations can be made by sending checks payable to: The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, missionary fund or humanitarian fund, and mailed to 9085 Winter Spring Dr., Mechanicsville, VA 23116.
