Edward Jeter

Edward Lawson Jeter, age 53, of Blackstone, VA, passed away Friday, March 25, 2011.

He was preceded in death by his father, Jack Jeter and brother, Randy Jeter.

He is survived by his wife, Jeanne; his loving and devoted son, Jacob Jeter; his mother and stepfather, Rachel Jeter Johnson (George), all of Blackstone; sisters, Teresa Finch (J.D.) of Stony Creek, VA, and Sharon McComas (Kel) of Crewe, VA; nieces and nephews; many loyal customers and extended Snap-On Tools family. Eddie was a very devoted Snap-On Tools Authorized Dealer for 18 years.

The family will receive friends, Sunday, from 6 8 p.m. at the Joseph McMillian Funeral Home, 1826 Cox Road (Bus. Hwy. 460), Blackstone, VA. Chapel funeral services will be held 11 a.m., Monday, March 28, 2011 with burial to follow in Crewe Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions may be made to the Blackstone Fire Department, First Responders, 318 Church Street, Blackstone, VA 23824 or to the Nottoway County Emergency Squad, P. O. Box 453, Crewe, VA 23930.
