With heavy hearts we announce the loss of our mother, Deloise Jane Noel, of Gretna, VA, and formerly of Chesterfield, VA, who passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 10, 2025, at the age of 81.
Deloise was a beacon of light and love, a devoted mother to her five children. She was known for her love of tennis and football. She was known to all of us for her unwavering kindness, infectious laughter, quiet strength, boundless generosity, and her nurturing spirit that touched all who knew her. She loved Jesus and found joy in watching her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren play sports for decades, as well as shopping with her favorite beloved two nieces, Judy Clay and Vickie Call. Her unwavering love and support were the foundation of the family, and her memory will continue to guide and inspire. The laughter, the lessons, and the love she gave will be forever cherished.
Deloise is survived by her five children, Theresa Noel, Michael (Harriette) Noel, Rhonda (Matt) Montgomery, Wayne Noel, and Linda Whitcomb. A cherished grandmother of 9 and great grandmother of 13. She is also survived by her sister, Marie English, and beloved companion, Larry Francis, of many years.
Deloise had six siblings and was preceded in death by her parents, Bessie and Clarence Edward Simpson, as well as three sisters, Dorothy, Mary, Shirley, and one beloved brother, Harold.
A Celebration of Life for Deloise will be held on Friday, July 18, 2025, at 1 P.M. at Love Covenant Fellowship Church, 17897 Pridesville Rd., Amelia Court House, VA 23002.
Mom's love will remain in our hearts forever. She is dearly missed. ❤️❤️
