Darrell Spencer, Sr. Obituary

Darrell William Spencer, Sr., age 52, of Burkeville, VA, passed away Saturday, October 30, 2010. He operated Spencer's Upholstery with Darlene for a number of years on Main Street in Crewe, VA.

He is survived by his son, Darrell William Spencer, Jr. and his wife, Jennifer of Rustburg; his mother, Dorothy Humphries Bowman (Charlie) of Burkeville; his father, Charles Hugh Spencer, Jr. of Crewe; three grandchildren, Darrell W. Spencer, III, Alexis K. Spencer, and Briana G. Spencer, all of Rustburg. Survivors also include his sister, Catherine Spencer Dail (Jim) of Amelia, his beloved brother, Charles Hugh Spencer, III of Burkeville, and a half-sister.

The family will receive friends from 6 8 P.M., Thursday, November 4, 2010 at the Joseph McMillian Funeral Home, 1826 Cox Road (Bus. Hwy. 460) near Blackstone. Graveside funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M., Friday, November 5, 2010 at Sunset Hill Cemetery, Burkeville, VA. .
